Starkiller-Cosplay

Don't let haters get you down.  Whether you're new and starting out or been around a while and have top notch cosplays, you'll deal with people trying to tear you down.  It's one thing if they provide genuinely constructive criticism on how to improve your craft, it's completely different if they only say things to make you feel bad. You can't escape it, but you can choose to ignore them.  Remember, some people can only feel good about themselves when making others feel bad.  They aren't looking for anything logical, they can't be bought, bullied, reasoned or negotiated with.  Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I honestly don't know what to write in this space.  I've never written one of these before.  Maybe I should mention how much it bothers me that people try to fill conventions with drama. Conventions are supposed to be a place of welcoming, a place away from the real world, where we can be around fellow nerds and dorks and otaku and share the awesomeness of our fandoms, make friends, and not be judged for whatever quirks or shortcomings we have. And yet, it seems like there's always people who thrive on it, who aren't happy if they're not causing problems for others. Me?  I don't waste time on it.  You wanna try to drag me through drama?  G

Living in Florida, i'm well accustomed to the fact that the average daytime temperature is 90 degrees or more, not counting humidity.  That and i'm prone to overheating easily if wearing several layers of clothing. The irony is that all the cosplays I want to do are either heavy or have alot of layers to them. At least i'm not alone in this, the guy who dd the Medieval Batman armor from MegaCon said the same thing at a panel he was hosting.
